Grad School Here I Come!!

As of today, I was informed that I have been officially accepted into grad school. I will be furthering my education by pursuing my Master of Business Administration. This program will take me 2 years and I will start taking my first official class next Thursday, June 26th. I have decided to continue my education immediately following my Bachelor's degree since I'm not married and I don't have any kids yet. Right now is the best time for me to get the bulk of it under my belt before I start my family. I am quite excited even though this means 2 more years of school for me. I just hope that I won't get burnt out and that I will be able to keep momentum over the next 2 years to complete the final part of my education. Wish me luck!!

Vacation and bad blogging

I know, I know.....I have been a terrible blogger. The last couple weeks have been quite hectic. I had several job interviews while still working my usual work schedule. The I started packing for my family to go on vacation. All last week, my family took a cruise for 5 days. It was perfect timing because I was in great need of a getaway. There were 12 of us all together that went, so it was quite interesting getting everyone through the airport and from place to place, especially with 3 children in the group. Needless to say, we had a great time.

We left from Miami.

Our next day was a "fun day at sea".

Wednesday we stopped in Grand Turk in Turks and Caicos. I didn't take any pictures here because it was really raining quite a bit, so I didn't take my new camera off the ship. All we did at Grand Turk was hit the shops.

Thursday we stopped at Half Moon Cay. This is Carnival Cruise Lines private island. They have staff that live there and maintain the island. This was the most beautiful beach I have ever seen in my life. The water was so clear and the entire place was so clean. We were at the beach the whole day we were at Half Moon Cay.

Friday was our day in Nassau, Bahamas. We did a little shopping at Del Sol and the straw market. It was an interesting experience. This was the stop that we did an excursion. We decided to all take a ferry tour over to the Atlantis resort and have a guided tour through their aquarium.

We loved our waiters. Not only the kids, but others of us got up and danced with the waiters as well. It was really fun!!

Lastly, for those of you that have been on a cruise before, you know that you gotta love the towel animals on your bed!!
